Our story
The Zimbabwean Astronomical Society is a collective of astronomers dedicated to promoting astronomy in Zimbabwe through outreach and education.
We were founded with the vision of spreading knowledge and fostering a passion for Astronomy in every corner of Zimbabwe.
Our aims
- Raise awareness of Astronomy in Zimbabwe through public and private outreach programs.
- Develop Astronomy education in Zimbabwe within schools and universities.
- Promote technical skills and STEM education overall.
- Raise the profile of educational institutions in Zimbabwe.
